China stands able to capitalize on Joe Biden’s choice to finish army operations in Afghanistan. A WION TV host has warned that the Taliban is standing by to “rollout out the red carpet” to Beijing with the final US troops set to go away the area by August 31. It comes amid concern as Taliban forces seize swathes of territory throughout Afghanistan as western forces pull out.
WION presenter Palki Sharma mentioned the Taliban is looking out for allies”those who do not believe in democracy or basic freedoms of power-sharing.”

Quoting the Taliban spokesperson she continued: “We have been to China many times and we good relations with them.
“China is a pleasant nation that we welcome for reconstruction and creating Afghanistan.”
It comes as US President Joe Biden was lammed over the withdrawal of US troops from Afghanistan.
Biden’s stance has been slammed by former UN Weapons Inspector Scott Ritter.
Mr Ritter told RT: “If all we needed to do was kill Bin Laden and annihilate AL-Queda we acquired have finished that a lot sooner with out taking that which we did undertake.
